Our client is a Local Leader in Mining Equipment Overhaul & Manufacturing and is a respected brand in the market. We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to support their Underground Mining overhauls section for ongoing work that is likely to transition into a full time permanent position
What’s Involved?
* Strip, assess and rebuild of Underground Coal Mining equipment to underground mining standard
* Rebuild Diesel Loader / Coal Trams
* Mechanical and hydraulic assembly
* Read drawings and diagrams
What we’re looking for:
* Mechanical Trade Qualification
* Proven Diesel Loader / Coal Tram rebuild experience preferred
* Attention to detail and industry standards
* Excellent work references that can support your application
What we can offer you:
* $59.63 - $60.16 / hour - Casual rate
* Overtime available
* 6 AM - 2 PM - Day shift
* Ongoing work
* Potential for full time permanent
* Maitland region, workshop based
* Ongoing support from your Randstad team
