Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Management and Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by providing expertise in contract management, procurement, and commercial advice.
About the Role
* Manage contracts for support services and supplies as well as software, including processing changes, reviewing deliverables, and managing contractor performance.
* Lead complex procurement activities, developing request documents, and negotiating with prime contractors.
* Develop APS commercial staff and coordinate project representation at key contract meetings.
* Identify and manage commercial risks, prepare internal briefs and reports, and participate in contract workshops as required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contract Management: Process contract changes, review deliverables, and manage contractor performance.
2. Procurement: Lead complex procurement activities, develop request documents, and negotiate with prime contractors.
3. Commercial Advice: Provide accurate and timely commercial advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders.
4. Project Coordination: Coordinate project representation at key contract meetings and identify commercial risks.
Requirements
* Familiarity with ASDEFCON contracts and procurement strategies.
* Ability to lead complex procurement activities and develop request documents.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Experience in contract management and commercial advice.
