Electronics and Communications ApprenticeYou will complete a Certificate lll Electronics and Communications qualification over 48 months through a combination of formal training with TAFE NSW and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and our host employer, Shoalhaven City Council.Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:Maintain and install varying telecommunications and security equipmentUndertake practical work by hand including running cables, connecting comms, security, and power equipmentComputer-based work, programming equipment and recording detailsThis position will commence in early ****.What you'll bring to the table...To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:Lean towards technology and associated equipmentGood mathematics and computer skillsWilling to work at heights (advantageous)Knowledge and understanding of the tradeGood literacy and numeracy skillsPhysically capable to complete tasksDemonstrated ability for high safety standardsDemonstrated customer service valuesCommitment to completing the apprenticeshipMandatory RequirementsWHS Construction Industry Induction (White Card)Completed School CertificateManual Drivers Licence – P1 or aboveWillingness to undergo a standard medical and drug and alcohol screening.About Zeal FuturesZeal Futures provides the ultimate training and employment experience.
