In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality training and assessment to students preparing for careers in heavy vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair. Whether you're an experienced trainer or a seasoned technician ready to share your knowledge, this is your chance to shape the next generation of diesel mechanics.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and assess training in heavy diesel systems and servicing
- Prepare engaging learning materials and maintain vocational currency
- Support students on campus and/or in the workplace
- Apply compliance and quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with industry and promote programs
What you’ll bring
- Current industry skills and experience in heavy diesel mechanics
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities
- Commitment to inclusive, student-focused education
- Ability to adapt to change and embrace innovation
