This is the right role for a dynamic individual to support the development and implementation of a student communications and engagement strategy, ensuring effective communication channels and engaging campaigns for our Student Experience Directorate.
**Deliverables**:
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive student communications and engagement strategy, along with associated campaigns.
- Develop accessible and plain English content for all student and stakeholder communication channels, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with the Student Experience Directorate's objectives.
- Create and coordinate a diverse range of student engagement and campus activation events throughout the academic calendar.
- Produce high-quality written content and facilitate the development of visual and video products as part of an integrated content strategy across multiple platforms and channels.
- Monitor and report on communication performance, identifying successful strategies and activities, implementing corrective actions as needed, and providing recommendations for future improvements and initiatives.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, including student advisory groups, external partners, and suppliers, to ensure alignment and collaboration across communication activities.
- Proactively support engagement efforts across corporate and education directorates, ensuring seamless coordination and timely delivery of information to students.
- Develop and enforce communication and engagement governance practices specific to the Student Experience Directorate.
- Coordinate the development of internal and external communication activities and products for the Student Experience team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing student communications and engagement strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to create accessible and engaging content.
- Proficiency in producing visual and video products, aligned with an integrated content strategy and various platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to monitor and evaluate communication performance.
- Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, fostering relationships with diverse groups.
- Proactive mindset and ability to collaborate across different directorates and teams.
- Familiarity with communication and engagement governance practices.
