Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with BRCGS standards, customer requirements, and all relevant food safety regulations.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation and implement regulatory and customer-driven standards.
* Develop, implement, and oversee food safety and quality assurance programs across all stages of production.
* Conduct internal audits, inspections, and manage corrective and preventive actions.
* Identify food safety and quality risks; develop mitigation strategies and response protocols.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on food safety procedures, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations.
* Lead a culture of continuous improvement by updating policies, procedures, and leveraging new technologies.
* Ensure controlled, accessible information management via systems like SharePoint.
* Contribute to sustainability initiatives by promoting responsible environmental practices.
* Model and promote workplace safety, actively identifying and resolving hazards.
* Support a strong safety culture by adhering to and promoting safe work systems.
