The Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning is seeking two research associates to contribute to a Laureate funded research project. The successful applicants will work closely with the Chief Investigator and other members of the research team.
Key responsibilities include participating in fieldwork design and data gathering plans, conducting research to address specific aims, interviewing research participants and stakeholders, and contributing to written outputs.
* Collaborate with researchers from across the University of Sydney on regional decarbonisation transitions.
* Support the research agenda of one of two sub-projects: 'Uneven Development' or 'Local Capacities'.
A PhD degree in a relevant area of research, knowledge of regional Australia and experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research are essential requirements.
Desirable skills include working with large datasets and collaborating with community stakeholders.
