Job Title:
Pursue a career as a Commercial Contract Specialist. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead on contract negotiations and manage the administration of all commercial contracts.
The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring all stakeholders are engaged, partnering with finance teams on pricing strategies, and collaborating with growth and marketing departments on sales objectives.
The role involves managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, negotiating contracts, creating and administering contracts, vendor and supplier management, legal engagement, risk assessment, compliance and audit, pricing and profitability, sales strategy, proposal development, and reporting and documentation.
About the Role:
* Negotiate and administer contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
* Manage a repository of all contracts and track key milestones.
* Negotiate and maintain third-party agreements, including reseller and manufacturing subcontracts.
* Liaise with legal counsel on commercial matters and identify potential risks.
* Ensure compliance with contract terms and conduct regular audits.
* Support pricing and commercial models to achieve margin and profitability targets.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and profit growth.
* Manage memberships of selected government contracting panels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Negotiation: Successfully negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
* Contract Administration: Manage the lifecycle of contracts, including creation, negotiation, signing, and renewal.
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and business partners.
* Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, including compliance and regulatory risks.
