Inclusion Support & Wellbeing Coordinator – Primary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Inclusion Support Coordinator (ISC) to support students with a range of needs within a co‐educational Catholic college in Katherine, NT, that transitions students from Transition to Year 12.
Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with students, teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individual learning plans and goals.
* Lead the Primary Inclusion Team while maintaining a small teaching load within the college.
* Support students with a range of needs and provide ongoing monitoring and progress review.
* Assist with the transition of students to new classes and support ongoing inclusion within the school community.
* Collaborate with school leadership to embed inclusive practices and review school policies.
Contract and Location
6‐month contract, commencing Term 3 (negotiable), with the potential to extend in 2027. The role offers a permanent teaching position at the end of the coordinator role. The position is situated approximately 3 hours south of Darwin in the NT's fourth largest settlement.
Requirements
* Appropriate qualifications and experience teaching subjects outlined above.
* Understanding and appreciation of regional Queensland education.
* Enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
* Northern Territory Teaching Registration Board (or eligibility to gain).
* Working rights for Australia (or eligible to gain) including WHV or Skilled Migrant Visa.
