Your new role In this role, you will report to the Superintendent and take ownership of delivering a diverse capital project portfolio within the team. On a 4:3 or 5:2 roster, youll oversee multiple civil and infrastructure projects such as airport works, water systems, roadways, and housing developments. Your responsibilities include: Upholding and promoting strong health, safety, environmental and sustainability commitments Applying the companys risk management framework to identify, assess and manage project risks Managing the full project lifecycle using the Small Projects Management Framework Producing clear, structured and high quality documentation Providing analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving expertise Engaging with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals Negotiating contract terms to support budget and schedule outcomes Embedding lessons learnt and identifying productivity and capital efficiency opportunities Leading, supporting and mentoring project managers and engineers across project lifecycles What you'll need to succeed Engineering Bachelor Degree (or higher)Experience reporting to or working within a PMODemonstrated portfolio management experience across varying budgets and KPIsProven capability across the full project lifecycleQLD Coal Mining experienceExperience delivering civil and water management projects (FEL, design clarification, execution, commissioning)Strong planning experience, including coordination with contractors and tradesStrong stakeholder influence and communication skillsHigh attention to safety, quality and complianceEffective writing skills across documentation, emails and presentationsProficiency in documentation, including actions, delays, variations, ITPs, punch lists and close out packages.Strong Microsoft Suite competency (Excel, Word, Outlook) What you'll get in return Youll join a team that champions innovation, continuous improvement and professional development.
