You Will Make an Impact By
Developing and delivering community waste minimisation and resource recovery education programs.
Leading projects that support Council's Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy and Victorian Government recycling initiatives.
Creating engaging communication materials across print, social media, and web platforms.
Building strong relationships with community groups, stakeholders, and government agencies to maximise engagement.
Monitoring and supporting waste service contracts to ensure high-quality service delivery.
What You Will Bring
Demonstrated experience in waste engagement and community education programs.
Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver programs within budget and timelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences.
Knowledge of waste collection, recycling, and minimisation practices, including relevant legislation.
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a small, collaborative team.
Initiative and creativity to develop new ideas and find innovative solutions.
Experience liaising with contractors and managing service performance.
