Job Description
As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service and quality goods. You will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring prompt service to customers, responding to inquiries and complaints, planning and preparing work schedules, interviewing and hiring new staff members, instructing staff on sales procedures, examining returned goods, taking inventory of goods for sale, and enforcing safety and security procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Prompt Service: Ensure that customers receive efficient and courteous service at all times.
* Inquiries and Complaints: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any complaints in a fair and professional manner.
* Work Schedules: Plan and prepare work schedules for staff, ensuring that adequate coverage is provided at all times.
* New Staff Members: Interview and hire new staff members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and qualifications to perform their duties.
* Sales Procedures: Instruct staff on sales procedures, including handling cash, operating the till, and processing transactions.
* Returns and Refunds: Examine returned goods and decide on action, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the outcome.
* Inventory Management: Take inventory of goods for sale, ordering new stock as needed to ensure that shelves are always fully stocked.
* Safety and Security: Enforce safety and security procedures, ensuring that the workplace remains safe and secure at all times.
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable individual with strong customer service and communication skills, experience supervising staff, knowledge of food handling and hygiene, and the ability to manage fast-paced service periods.
