ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager with fencing industry experience or similar to lead the operations, people, and performance of two sites. This role requires a strong, visible leader who can balance operational excellence with values-based leadership, ensuring consistent standards, culture, and customer service across both locations.
You will be accountable for safety, people leadership, financial performance, customer relationships, and operational consistency across the two sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
* Provide strong, values driven leadership across two sites, ensuring alignment in culture, safety, and service.
* Lead and develop branch teams, including supervisors and frontline staff.
* Drive a safe working environment, ensuring full WHS compliance and strong safety leadership.
* Oversee operational performance, stock control, and site presentation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
* Coach and support leaders to build capability, accountability, and engagement.
* Ensure consistent customer experience and operational standards across both sites.
* Management of budgets, profit and loss statements and cost centre management. Including budget forecasting, understanding financial objectives, and managing wage and stock expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* Proven experience as a Branch Manager or senior leader within the fencing, building products, or construction supply industry.
* Demonstrated success leading multiple sites or complex operations.
* Strong people leadership capability with a clear commitment to values-based leadership
* Sound commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational targets.
* Strong understanding of WHS obligations in a trade or yard environment.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and lead through others.
* Hands on, practical leadership style with the ability to balance strategy and day to day operations.
* Manual Vehicle Licence.
* Forklift Licence (LF) Advantageous.
