Hampden Bar & Bistro is seeking a motivated and passionate Part Time Sous Chef to join our small kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a serious candidate looking to further their career. The successful applicant will work closely with the head chef and will need to be able to run all sections and aspects of the kitchen. With leadership from our Head Chef, this is your chance to further develop your skills. Generous salary package plus bonuses based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Ability to run all sections of a professional kitchen
- Lead a team in a fast-paced, quality-focused restaurant
- Develop menus based on seasonal changes
- Effective communication within the kitchen and with front-of-house
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a sous chef
- Experience in running a fast-paced, quality-focused restaurant of a similar calibre
- Ability to lead a team
- Experience with European-style food
- Creativity and passion for the industry
- Trade qualifications
- Availability to work a variety of shifts
- A proven background in a similar role
