About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Legal Assistant to join our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team on a full-time basis.
As a key member of the team, you will provide support to several partners, including the team lead, as well as the broader practice group. Your duties will include:
* Providing secretarial support for general administrative tasks;
* Brief preparation, court document drafting, amendment, and management;
* Preparing lists of documents and other quasi-paralegal duties;
* Proactive diary management and meeting coordination;
* Coordination of travel arrangements;
* File opening and management;
* Proactive management of monthly client reporting and billing;
* General administrative tasks, including taking phone calls and sending mail; and
* Providing support and mentorship to junior Legal Assistants in the team and across the broader firm.
Your Key Responsibilities

About You
We are looking for an intermediate-level Legal Assistant with at least three years of experience in a professional firm. You will be highly motivated, with excellent organisational skills, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional support to your authors.
You will demonstrate the following attributes:

* Strong communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
* Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines efficiently;

* A collaborative approach, fostering strong relationships with team members and other legal assistants across the firm;
* Strong technical proficiency and a solid grasp of relevant software applications; and
* A genuine dedication to delivering outstanding support to your team of authors.
