Join our professional fire rescue team for the
******* Victorian Festival Season
ARFF is seeking dedicated firefighters to provide 24-hour emergency coverage at major festival locations across Victoria.
As part of a small, professional team you will be responsible for early intervention, fire suppression, and emergency response for incidents occurring on-site or affecting the site from surrounding areas. This season requires fully staffed day and night wildfire and structural firefighting capability, and we are seeking applicants who can commit to day and night shift rotations.
Availability Requirements
27 December ******** January **** (day & night shifts)
First two weeks of March **** (day & night shifts)
On-site accommodation provided
Key Responsibilities
Provide fire and rescue standby services under the direction of the Fire Manager
Respond promptly to emergency calls
Assist onsite medical teams when required
Conduct regular patrols to ensure compliance with site fire regulations
Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment to ensure operational readiness
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, applicants must hold nationally accredited qualifications issued by an RTO, including:
Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
PUAFIR204 Respond to Wildfire
PUAFIR207 Respond to Urban Fire
PUAFIR210 Operate Breathing Apparatus
Current First Aid & CPR certification
