Our team is focused on growing a standalone infrastructure business – increasing the visibility of our infrastructure assets, driving operating efficiency and growing our revenue streams, to position Telstra InfraCo as a strong, viable business in the market and enhance future optionality.
As a Business Administrator, you are critical to the team you support in performing routine administrative and processing tasks in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining relevant and accurate records which are important for Telstra for audit and reference purposes. You thrive on providing responsive, considered support and being a key enabler for your team and Telstra, purposefully contributing to shared goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to order equipment, supplies and material within a prescribed process, and support senior team members in a timely and accurate manner to enable the smooth functioning of administration activities
* Seek the guidance of senior team members and escalate issues that arise where appropriate, ensuring the relevant stakeholders are kept abreast of important details
* Maintain relevant records and documentation for audit and reference purposes as guided by senior team members
* Utilise relevant tools and applications to determine how to access, present and share information
* Prioritise service requests in order to support other team members to drive the timely completion of strategic projects and activities
* Leverage communication skills and business unit knowledge to assist the business in managing day to day administrative tasks
About You

* Advanced Excel Skills
* Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
* Knowledge in Outlook/Email
* Strong communication and negotiation skills – use verbal and written communication to work with customer and delivery partners to solve problems and achieve best outcomes for the business.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
* Time management skills – Monitor work queues, emails and prioritise tasks to meet required daily target and optimise productivity.
* Adaptability - Embrace change and uncertainty to quickly learn and improve on core functions.
* Maintain Telstra systems – Accurately update project information in NI database and other core systems, working with stakeholders to complete projects on time.
* Reporting – proactively monitor and action all region project reporting, follow up quotes and completions.
* Contribute to monthly cost targets – Be accountable for chasing contractor progress claims and final invoices to assist with the monthly cost target.
