Fishing Guide – Offshore Boats Fishing Charters (Darwin, NT)
Offshore Boats Fishing Charters is on the hunt for a fishing guide to join our close-knit team in Darwin NT. We are a small, family operated business and have been running Barra, Reef & Sport fishing charters in our 8 metre boats since 2017. We carry a maximum of 6 guests on our vessels, allowing us to provide a high-quality, personalised experience for every trip.
We're passionate about delivering exceptional fishing adventures—and we're looking for someone who shares that passion. Prior experience as a fishing guide is desirable, with fishing experience and knowledge of Top End waterways preferable. However, we are willing to provide training to the successful applicant.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, guest-facing role where you'll be guiding fishing trips across some of the Top End's most iconic waterways. We're offering casual, part-time or full-time employment, depending on your availability and experience.
- Annual earnings approx. $100,000 (based on full time/5 days a week)
- Plus superannuation, annual leave, and sick pay
- Flexible work options: 2, 3, 4 or 5-day work weeks
- Boat washers employed – no end-of-day washing or packing required

Essential Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional customer service

- Competent towing and launching boats
Required Qualifications
- Coxswain Grade 1 (minimum)
- NT Fisheries Approved Operator Card
- Light Rigid (LR) Driver's Licence
- Driver's Licence with H Endorsement
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Qualifications can be obtained after hiring with training and support provided
