Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structure and components in accordance with specifications
* Interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
* Perform high-quality welding (MIG, TIG and other required welding processes) ensuring compliance with relevant standards and company quality expectations
* Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics and repairs on plant, equipment and structural components
* Operate workshop machinery and handheld tools safely and efficiently
* Accurate and timely documentation and record keeping of daily activities, equipment condition and repairs performed
* Work collaboratively with the maintenance and operations teams on upgrades, repairs and new installations
* Identify improvement opportunities and recommend cost-saving initiatives, supporting continuous improvement initiatives
* Follow all safety procedures and contribute to maintaining and promoting a safe work environment, including hazard identification, risk assessment and reporting unsafe conditions
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are used correctly and kept in good working condition
Qualifications & Experience
* Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder
* Proven experience in industrial or production environment
* Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to Workplace Safety

* Understanding of manufacturing processes and maintenance data
