The Role
In this new permanent full-time role, you will be responsible for providing contractual and procurement support across the Digital and Technology Services business unit, including the management of complex and significant IT contracts and commercial relationships, implementing a schedule of contract and service level review meetings, managing audit action items, risk management and continuous improvement. You will help to define the contracting and purchasing strategies.
**In this role you will**:
Negotiate and monitor commercial terms for contracts and supply agreements ensuring adherence
Escalation point to assist in contract claims, non-performance and disputes
Manage the financial performance of the various contracts and report on D&T's financial position on monthly basis with associated recommendations and commentary
Build, communicate and deploy an IT contract and Procurement Governance Framework based on industry best practise
Building and maintaining a register of ICT contracts and licences
Influence stakeholders, provide strategic input and constructively challenge current ways of working
Skills you'll bring
10+ years' experience in contract and procurement management role in an ICT environment
Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Law, Contract, ICT, Commerce, or relevant fields of experience within either an Enterprise or large Government organisation.
Experience in driving process improvements, adherence and automation
Experience utilising contract and procurement management methodologies will be highly regarded
Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
