Warehouse Operations Manager
The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee the efficient management of warehouse activities, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance
* Provide guidance, coaching, and support for team members as required
* Implement cost-saving measures to minimize damages, wastage, and overtime
* Liaise with senior management regarding labor requirements and work process changes
* Develop and promote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented
Requirements:
* Holding a current forklift license is essential
* Proven experience in warehousing, distribution management, and inventory control is highly valued
* Excellent time management and communication skills are required
* Proficiency in computer systems, including the ability to learn internal systems quickly
* Experience managing rosters and resources within budget constraints is necessary
* Understanding of HACCP, WHS, and HR principles is essential
* Able to provide leadership and motivation to a team
