The Role
We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join our Hose team in Perth. In this customer facing role, you will be responsible for securing new business, expanding relationships with existing customers, and providing expert guidance on hose products, assemblies, and applications. Your day-to-day will include customer site visits, preparing tailored quotes and proposals, developing vendor partnerships, and working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Act as the primary contact for key accounts, providing high-quality customer service and technical support
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across oil & gas, mining and industrial sector
Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and product recommendations
Conduct regular client and site visits to understand needs and strengthen partnerships
Collaborate with internal teams to support order fulfilment and after-sales service
Monitor market activity, competitor trends, and customer feedback
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, and activity reporting
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Qualifications & Experience
3–5 years' experience in technical sales, business development, or account management
Experience within hoses, fittings, fluid transfer, or related industrial products
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow accounts
Solid understanding of industrial, mining, or similar operational environments
Strong commercial acumen with experience quoting, tendering, and negotiating
Ability to work independently, plan your schedule, and manage priorities
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Current driver's licence
