**Talent International** is currently recruiting for a
**ICT**
**Customer Service Officer **to work for a
** NSW Government **based in
**Parramatta**
**, NSW. **The position is
**6-month contract role with the possibility of extension** and are paying
**$3**
**5**
**0 per day + Super**.

8 per hour and 40 hours per week.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Trouble shoot user/system issues
- Contribute to development of reference materials e.g. knowledge base / FAQs
- Escalate issues to level 3 as required

Above all else, these positions require excellent communication and time management skills.

Writing and managing documentation of all processes, procedures and systems.

Correct and timely escalation of issues which cannot be resolved at the first point of correct.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal)
- Extensive problem solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to help, assist and take ownership of problems where required.
- Proactive attitude to team collaboration, support and documentation.
- Working in a team environment
- Ability providing high quality friendly customer service

**Required skills**:

- Previous support experience or have worked in a customer focussed environment
- Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams/Skype
- Interest in the NSW Planning system or previous government / council experience
- Customer focused
- Great communicator
- Fast learner
- Problem solver / trouble shooter
- Collaborative / Team player
- Positive attitude
- Process orientated / analytical

**Desirable skills**:

- Previous strong experience providing system and business support to a wide range of users
- Knowledge and or experience of the NSW Planning system
- Knowledge of or experience using the NSW Planning Portal
- Customer Service Officer in a Government of Council environment
- Experience as a systems and business process trainer
- Be a qualified planner
- Interest in the planning system
- Previous council / agency / industry experience
