Pemberton is a town in the southwest corner of Western Australia. It’s known for the tall karri trees of Gloucester National Park, including the Gloucester Tree with its lookout point. Also in the park are the Cascades waterfall and Lefroy Brook’s rocky rapids. Just outside town are more giant karris at Warren National Park and vast dunes at Yeagarup Beach.
We are currently seeking a Clerical Officer to join our team.
Under the immediate supervision of the Administration and Finance Officer, the Clerical Officer:
* Provides general administration and clerical support to district staff and secretarial support for the District Manager and Operations Manager.
* Provides front counter and telephone reception services for the district office.
* Assists the district administration team provide support to operational functions of the department, within the Donnelly District of the Warren Region.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following three (3) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.
1. Experience in dealing with internal and external enquiries, having a customer service focus, and evidence of openness and honesty in all dealings including supervisors, work colleagues, customers and the general public.
2. Knowledge of office procedures and administration including demonstrated competency in the use of computer databases, spreadsheets and word processing software.
3. Ability to undertake records management and general clerical duties, including the processing of financial documents.
