The group concentrating exclusively on the Insurance, Reinsurance, Wealth Management and Asset Management Industries.
The group is currently looking for two roles: A
Senior Strategy Consultant
and a
Strategy Consultant
with a passion and strong interest in financial markets and the financial services industry. Consultants are accountable for the development of insights and quality output on projects, building client relationships and contributing to strategic consulting assignments.
The successful candidate will have a high-level skill in research and analysis along with exceptional client liaison abilities.
Both roles are based in Sydney and are permanent positions.
Responsibilities
Providing financial analysis to clients for business strategy formulation and transformation plans based on market intelligence
Building financial models and preparation analysis including business cases and valuations
Conducting external research, data gathering and analysing qualitative or quantitative data using a variety of methods and models
Building strong relationships with other divisions of our company to leverage specific areas of knowledge and expertise, in order to generate analysis for presentations, including leveraging the collective expertise and resources across all divisions of the Group in order to fully utilise the “information advantage” improving the quality of our client offering
Establishing analytical frameworks and conducting complex business analysis
Carry out client liaison and relationship management
Identifying opportunities for new business and developing appropriate strategies accordingly
Mentoring and guiding other consultants and analysts within the team.
About You
A tertiary qualification, ideally with additional qualifications such as actuarial studies highly regarded
Experience in Life insurance, general insurance or financial services
More than two years experience for a Consultant and at least five years experience for Senior Consultant role
Outstanding quantitative abilities, business modelling and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and high-quality standards
Ability to prioritise competing demands and organise work flows clearly, and liaising with global teams
Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders with clear reasoning and arguments
