Practice Coordinator Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to oversee patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-ups across multiple clinics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient inquiries, ensuring a positive patient experience, and maintaining accurate and timely updates of patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-ups
* Manage patient inquiries and ensure a positive patient experience
* Maintain accurate and timely updates of patient records
* Supervise front desk staff and ensure seamless communication and administrative efficiency
* Oversight of billing processes, including Medicare claims and private billing procedures
* Manage clinic inventory and procurement of medical supplies
* Develop and manage staff rosters and ensure appropriate staffing levels and leave management
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff training initiatives
* Assist with staff performance evaluations and professional development programs
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting (minimum of 2 years)
* Strong understanding of Medicare billing, healthcare administration, and clinic management
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
* Proficiency in practice management software and Microsoft Office suite
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
