About the role
Due to our participants' option of Choice and Control, Ameya Care Support Services is seeking experienced male Support Workers to join our team in Atherton, QLD.
As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to our participants to SILs and SDAs.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
* Accompanying participants to appointments, social activities, and community events
* Providing emotional support and encouragement to participants
* Documenting participants progress and any relevant incidents or concerns
* Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar role, supporting individuals with disabilities or complex needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
