Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Corporate and Commercial Team. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
This position will suit an experienced insurance broker with 1-2 years' experience managing a portfolio of business. The successful candidate will have exposure to a diverse portfolio of risks, participating in new business tenders and proposals, building a network of opportunities, and assisting with the placement of complex insurance programs.
* Maintain a portfolio of key revenue-generating accounts while ensuring high-quality customer service.
* Develop, pursue, and convert new business opportunities.
* Grow a commercial portfolio through new logo and organic expanded opportunities.
* On-board new clients and deliver on our value proposition.
* Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers.
* Plan and implement effective renewal and broking strategies.
* Ensure effective account retention and defense strategies are in place for all clients.
About You
* Ideally, someone with 1 – 2 years broking experience.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team.
* Moderate knowledge of risks and insurance products for key industry sectors.
* Motivation to self-start, enhanced by time management skills.
* Capability to identify and address issues through innovative thinking.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite and demonstrated ability to learn systems quickly.
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualifications or higher.
