TRAINING MANAGER / HR SPECIALIST: FULL-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE

The club has just undergone a $12.5 million food and beverage upgrade. Stage two was just completed at the end of June 2025 and stage one was completed in December 2024 including a new commercial kitchen and premium pizza kitchen. The position would be required to:
•Responsible for the management of all compliance training and certification.
•As the RTW Coordinator and Safety Officer you will manage all internal safety initiatives.
•Design, deliver and prepare all internal training, workshop, assessment tools and certificates.
•Perform training needs and analysis and develop annual training calendar.
•Write and develop Training Manuals.
•Ensure that new gaming team members receive training from the IGT Technician.
•Ensure all new team members attend Vittoria Coffee.
•Training records to be kept up-to-date and HRIS profiles updated.
•Ensure that all staff are up to date on customer service protocols and product knowledge.
•Ensure that staff are trained in TAB/KENO as necessary.
•Liaise with the Rostering Manager regarding training schedules for rostering.
•Run Inhouse Training Programs i.e., Customer Service Training and Respect@Work plus more.
•Ensure all new team members complete the online training modules, as per Club Marconi Academy Program and/or Compliance.
•Review existing and ongoing training programs.
•Liaise with all training providers and local schools regarding career support and recruitment opportunities.
•Collaborate with third-party training providers.
•Payroll Support and Backup in the absence of the Payroll Officer.
•Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for training.
•Identify problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
•Identify and Support Staff Engagement opportunities i.e. Christmas Party, Reward & Recognition etc.
•Support Human Resources Manager in all areas of HR and Training.
•Support the development of Job Descriptions, Recruitment and Onboarding process.
•Any additional HR and Training administration.
Capabilities required:
•Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or similar
•5+ years’ experience in a similar training position (including training development & design)
•HR experience desirable
•Intermediate to Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
•Excellent administration and time management skills
•High level of written and verbal communication
