Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Livestock Exchange Operator to join our team. As a key member of the Hamilton Regional Livestock Exchange team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, including stock control movements, assisting users, assessing animal health, and maintaining plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a range of duties associated with operations and maintenance of the facility
* Cover stock control movements in connection with operations
* Provide excellent customer service to users of the Exchange
* Assess animal health and well-being
* Act as a welfare officer and ensure the humane treatment of animals
* Maintain plant and equipment used in the facility to ensure optimal performance
