The ideal candidate is passionate about coaching and instructingchildren of all ages, is reliable and able to work as part of ateam following direction from School Sport Staff.
About the Position
As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you'll play a key role inteaching essential swimming skills to children of all ages in a funand safe environment. Your enthusiasm and patience will be vital infostering a positive learning experience. Working hours are fromMonday to Saturday, including early mornings and some afternoons.Previous experience is preferred, but on-the-job training isavailable for the right candidate.
As a Squad Coach you will be reponsible for facilitating squadsessions and assessing swimmer ability and grading. You willsupport our Squad Teams at swim meets and carnivals on occation.The role requires assisting with swim training before and afterschool hours, as well as on weekends. Strong squad and groupmanagement skills, along with foundational coaching abilities andexperience in competitive strokes, are essential for thisposition.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct engaging and structured swimming lessons forchildren of all ages.
* Foster water confidence, stroke techniques and competitivestrokes, and water safety.
* Tailor lessons to individual abilities and provideconstructive feedback.
* Ensure a safe and clean pool environment at all times.
Selection Criteria
* Coaching Qualification will be an advantage
* Current positive notice of Blue Card (paid)
* Current First Aid and CPR mandatory
