HR Business Partner Role Overview
The role of HR Business Partner is a strategic partnership opportunity, supporting a workforce of over 200 employees. The successful candidate will provide expert and operational human resources support across the business.
Main Responsibilities:
* Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, and change management.
* Lead and manage complex employee relations matters and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
* Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including senior appointments.
* Drive retention strategies and support talent development initiatives.
* Maintain and enhance HR systems, records, and policies in line with best practice and legal requirements.
* Provide guidance on performance management and support managers with reviews and coaching.
* Act as the main point of contact for legal counsel on employment matters. Support investigations, risk assessments, and compliance in relation to Fair Work, WHS, and other employment legislation.
* Lead and mentor the HR Team, building strong working relationships across the business with external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field such as Organisational Development.
* A minimum of 7 years' HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior advisory capacity.
* Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES, and Industry Awards.
* Proven experience partnering with leadership teams to drive business outcomes.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
* Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities with professionalism and confidentiality.
