About the Role
Join Lutheran Services as a Home Care Support Worker and support our clients to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes.
As a Home Care Support Worker, you'll provide personalised, in‐home support to aged care clients, helping them maintain independence and enjoy a high quality of life. No two days are the same – you'll be out in the community making a genuine impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person‐centred care tailored to each client's goals and preferences.
* Assist with personal care (e.g., showering, dressing, grooming).
* Support with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and shopping.
* Accompany clients to appointments and community activities.
* Encourage independence, confidence, and social connection.
* Work closely with case managers and families to deliver consistent care.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who genuinely care about supporting older people.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
* Experience working in home care or aged care.
* A caring, respectful, and client‐focused approach.
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills.
* A current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and National Police Check.
