We are currently seeking an experienced Panel Builder to join us in our Adelaide workshop. This role is a casual, with full-time hours on offer (Monday to Friday - no weekend work), with the potential for overtime.
About the role
The Panel Builder assembles and wires electrical control panels to be dispatched and used on sites across Australia. They support ComAp to deliver quality products with customer-focused support.
Key responsibilities include:
* Building electrical control panels to current Australian Standards.
* Keeping supervisors informed regarding any issues or concerns.
* Liaising with ComAp Project Managers, Electrical Engineers, and Technicians.
* Maintaining a safe and clean workshop.
Key requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of technical know-how, in addition to the following key requirements:
* Previous experience building electrical panels (>2 years)
* Demonstrated competence in relation to Workplace Health and Safety requirements and legislation.
* The ability to interpret electrical drawings.
* An autonomous work ethic with a results-oriented approach.
* Australian residency with unrestricted work eligibility.
* An Australian electrical licence is desirable, but not essential.
