For this role we are looking for strengths in: - Project facilitation including project plan management and leadership - Understanding of project delivery steps, milestones and critical factors - Results driven - Strong work ethic - Creative thinker and problem solver - Strong Interpersonal skills with understanding of commercial priorities and pressures Your responsibilities - Work with proponents and support the development and delivery of strategic and catalytic projects that will promote defence industry development in line with government priorities and report on progress. - Work with proponents to provide a service that is targeted to their project needs that will facilitate industry development and supply chain development. - Provide briefings, submissions, and other documentation that may be required. - Leverage your networks to facilitate and assist industry to connect with all levels of government and use these networks to assist in facilitating the development of a project when required. Support the State Development leadership team to develop leadership and capacity building to deliver on the economic priorities of government - Analyse trends and develop proposals to support policy development relevant to attracting investment to Queensland. - Represent the department at meetings, committees and industry events as required, including building, and maintaining purposeful relationships with a portfolio of clients.
