Ready Resources (RR) provides solutions to large mining clients across the Pilbara Region and beyond for their labour hire, maintenance, and asset management needs. As an industry leader in these fields, we offer ongoing long‑term engagement or on an ad‑hoc basis during peak load periods.
We are looking for teams of Metal Fabricators with all levels of experience to join our team for casual field service, backfill, breakdown, and shut crews. Ongoing roles will be on an 8:6 & 7:7 roster.

What You'll Need:
* 3+ Years of Relevant Experience Post Trade
* AUS/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
* Fixed Plant Mine Site Experience
* Previous Shut Down Experience – Preferable but not essential
* WAH ticket
* First Attack Firefighting Certificate – Essential
* Valid C Class – (minimum requirement)
* Ability to pass a Pre‑Employment Medical and Drug Screen

Job Description:
* Installation, maintenance, and repair of fixed plant and other equipment.
* Read drawings, work orders, and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.
* Operate manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using gas shielded metal arc.
* Examine work for defects, and measure with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
* Set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment, grinders and carbon rod gauging.
* Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials or products and notify supervisors.
* Accept responsibility for the day‑to‑day activities required and undertaken at the work site.
* Ensure that appropriate maintenance methods and standards are applied while carrying out maintenance functions.
* Ensure that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times.
* Liaise with a supervisor regarding machine breakdowns, day‑to‑day maintenance of machinery, and machine safety and guarding.
* Ensure that all work to be carried out has been approved through a purchase order.
* Correctly complete daily and weekly timesheets clearly indicating job numbers and purchase order numbers.
