Job Description:
As an Ambulance Transport Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing dignified and patient-focused care to non-emergency pre- and post-hospital patients. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality clinical care during on-road transport, ensuring the comfort and respect of each patient throughout their journey.
The Mobile Patient Care (MPC) team offers Non-Emergency Patient Transport services across Victoria and New South Wales. We operate a large fleet of ambulances, supported by RFDS aircraft, and provide clinical care for patients travelling from home to hospital, hospital to hospital, and hospital to home, as well as transport to and from specialist clinics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), or Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or Bachelor of Nursing (with AHPRA registered nurse registration), or other equivalent qualification for Ambulance Officers recognized by RFDS or DHHS
* For Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) qualified - evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements and a Clinical Skills Assessment, completion of a minimum of 400 hours operational experience under the direct supervision of a clinical instructor, successful completion of clinical skills assessment
* To have the availability to work 10 and 12-hour shifts across 7 days
* To able to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
* To be compassionate, professional, and dedicated to providing excellent service
* Experience working in the NEPT sector in an equal role desirable but not essential
