Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 plus superannuation
Working Arrangements: Hybrid, 3 days working from home and 2 days in the office
Professional Development: $6,000 per annum

CEnet is inviting applications from experienced and values-driven professionals for the position of Manager, People & Culture. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, commencing in July 2025, to cover a parental leave period.
About CEnet
We are a not-for-profit, ICT shared services organisation supporting Catholic diocesan education networks across several Australian states and territories, providing ICT services to over 780 schools and 335,000 students, teachers, and staff.
About You
We seek a strategic, hands-on HR leader with expertise in talent management, attraction, retention, remuneration frameworks, and employee wellbeing. The ideal candidate will be proactive, values-driven, experienced in policy development, compliance, and HR systems to support operational excellence.
About The Role
* People Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy focusing on capability building and engagement.
* Attraction and Retention: Create strategies to attract and retain talent to meet organisational goals.
* Talent Management: Implement performance management strategies, support career development, and manage dispute resolution processes.
* Remuneration: Maintain a fair, equitable remuneration review model, including external benchmarking.
* Employee Wellbeing: Oversee wellbeing programs and chair the WHS Management Committee.
* Organisational Culture: Assess and enhance organisational culture continuously.
* Policy Development: Develop HR policies and support the Remuneration Committee.
* System Administration: Manage HRIS/Payroll systems, ensuring optimal utilisation and ongoing improvements.
* Compliance: Ensure employment records and practices meet legislative and regulatory standards.
* Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Criteria
* Extensive HR experience with relevant tertiary qualifications
* Understanding of Catholic Education mission
* Management, leadership, negotiation, and facilitation skills
* Expertise in HR policies and practices
* Experience with Mercer Remuneration Framework and job evaluations
* Strategic business understanding
* Strong relationship management and influencing skills
* Excellent communication and service orientation
* Knowledge of employment law and ‘Employer of Choice’ practices
* Proven business partnering ability
* Effective interaction at executive and strategic levels
