Based at a busy site office on the Gold Coast, you'll provide expert advice, ensure environmental compliance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery.The work is with a key client where you will represent NGH and provide in-house environmental management and planning advice to our clientThis is a full-time 12-month opportunity offering the chance to work closely with a passionate team.Any day may see you...Assess and manage environmental risks across a range of infrastructure projectsMonitor works compliance and ensure all activities meet legislative and contractual obligationsProvide clear, timely advice to project teams, consultants and contractorsUndertake site visits and assessments to support project deliveryPromote best practice environmental management and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesMaintain accurate project records and support a strong safety cultureDesired Skills and ExperienceWe will be looking for candidates with the following attributes:Ideally you will have:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of environmental management and risk management practicesExperience supporting road/civil constructionprojects in the South Coast RegionExperience working within or adjacent to National ParksKnowledge of the planning and approvals frameworkAbility to complete environmental assessments and review consultant reports with attention to detailConfident communicator, able to engage effectively with project teams, contractors and stakeholdersStrong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesProactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementCurrent driver’s licence and willingness to travel for site visits as requiredYou will also be a team player and have strong communication and interpersonal skillsAt NGH, we take immense pride in contributing to Australia's major infrastructure projects and leading the way in the growing renewable energy sector.
