Total Life Empowerment is currently looking for an experienced support worker to work around the Townsville Region.

A casual contract with variable working hours is available with the potential to move into a part-time role for the right person.

About you
* You are capable of creating meaningful and purposeful relationships with a range of individuals.
* You take initiative to follow processes and possess critical thinking skills
* You are trustworthy and compassionate
* You have great communicaton skills and are able to explore participants goals and plan how to achive them. Big or Small
Availability to work across a 7-day roster which will be a combination of shifts including mornings, afternoons, sleepover shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Role requirements
* First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or eligible to obtain)
* WWCC (blue card) (or willingness to obtain)
* Must have a valid Australian driver's license (P1 or higher) and personal car for reliable transport - with insurance.
* Experience in assisting people who have an intellectual and or physical disability, or other relevant industry experience.
* Eligible to work in Australia
* NDIS Workers Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
* NDIS Induction Module (or willing to obtain)

Salary: From $41.76 per hour
