Stealth Group Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Inventory Manager to lead and optimise inventory operations across the group.

Working closely with senior leadership, General Managers, branches, and suppliers, this role will play a key part in driving stock performance, purchasing efficiencies, service delivery, and operational excellence across the business. Stealth's diversified businesses today, distribute hundreds of leading brands to more than 40,000 businesses, institutions, trade professionals, and retail consumers across Australia.

Customers purchase through online platforms, sales representatives, local branches, and retail stores, across industries including mining, infrastructure, government, manufacturing, construction, transportation, telecommunications, FMCG, and consumer retail.

The Role

As the Inventory Manager, you will lead the day-to-day inventory and supply chain operations across the group, ensuring stock availability, purchasing efficiency, and strong operational performance.

Partnering closely with branches, General Managers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement across inventory planning, importing, replenishment, reporting, and systems management, including Netstock.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all day-to-day inventory management activities across the group
* Manage and optimise stocked inventory to balance availability, service levels, and stock holding
* Analyse stock performance, trends, service levels, and inventory data to support business decisions
* Implement and maintain inventory policies, procedures, and controls
* Partner with General Managers and branches to align inventory strategies with operational requirements
* Lead inventory planning through Netstock and other systems
* Oversee importing activities, supplier coordination, and replenishment processes
* Drive margin improvement initiatives through effective purchasing and stock management practices
* Monitor supplier performance, stock availability, and service outcomes
* Lead change management initiatives & strategic improvements
* Provide reporting, forecasting, and insights to senior leadership
* Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and operational efficiencies
* Lead, mentor, and support the inventory and purchasing team
About You

You are a highly organised and commercially minded inventory professional who enjoys balancing operational efficiency with strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

* Proven experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Procurement
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience within industrial, wholesale, distribution, or supply chain environments
* Strong understanding of inventory control and stock optimisation practices
* Experience using ERP and inventory planning systems such as Netstock (highly regarded)
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Commercial acumen with the ability to improve margins and operational performance
* Leadership experience managing or mentoring team members
* High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
