School Counselor Role Overview

Join our team to support students with mild to moderate mental health concerns in Moranbah, Central Queensland.

This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced School Counselor to work in a collaborative environment with local schools, providing dedicated support to students and their families.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of student wellbeing and mental health principles.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young people.

Key responsibilities include:

* Providing counselling services to students with mild to moderate mental health concerns
* Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and other school staff to develop and implement individualised plans for students
* Developing and implementing strategies to promote student wellbeing and engagement
