This role is for an Auto Electrician who wants pride in their work, stability in their life, and a team they actually enjoy working with.
If you're tired of FIFO, breakdown pressure, or feeling like just another number, this is a chance to work locally in Mandurah on high-end expedition trucks — planned new builds only, no call-outs, no emergency repairs. You'll be home every night, working in a clean workshop with a tight, capable team that values quality, respect, and doing things properly.
This is a long-term role with real career pathways, where your experience matters and your contribution is visible in every vehicle that leaves the workshop.
You'll be working on custom expedition trucks and canopy builds from the ground up. The work is structured, quality-driven, and finished to a standard you'll be proud to put your name on.
About the role
This is a workshop-based position focused on complete electrical installations for new vehicle builds. You'll manage your own jobs from start to finish, including planning tasks, ordering parts, and delivering high-quality electrical fit-outs that meet build schedules and presentation standards.
The work is structured, repeatable, and quality-driven. Diagnostic work is minimal. The focus is on clean wiring, logical layouts, and building vehicles you are proud to put your name on.
You will also play an important role in mentoring and guiding a 2nd-year apprentice. This is not about babysitting — it's about passing on good habits, high standards, and building the next generation of skilled tradespeople within a supportive team environment.
This role does not involve FIFO, underground work, field service, or breakdowns.
What makes this role different
We place huge value on team culture. Our workshop is structured, professional, and supportive, with people who respect each other's skills and contributions. We work hard, but we work together — and we care about doing things properly.
You won't be a number. You'll be trusted to run your work, contribute ideas, and be part of a business that is growing and evolving.
We build premium expedition vehicles, not production-line work or short-term fixes. The result is work that feels meaningful, satisfying, and worth showing off.
