About the role
The Merchant Partnerships Team helps drive growth within the Business Banking portfolio by giving business customers more reasons to choose and stay with Bendigo Bank. We work with key strategic partners to offer a range of services and solutions to our micro, small to medium and corporate customers, that are tailored to their industry and simplify the way they operate.
We collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategies to promote merchant solutions and generate sales across all channels.
Reporting to the Manager Merchant Acquisition in this role, you'll get to:
Help to prepare product and acquisition strategies
Deliver written staff communications via the Beat and Business and Agribusiness Bulletins
Prepare sales and educational materials
Produce and analyse performance reporting
Define and document sales related processes
Create and deliver training modules
Assist with the implementation of new products
Contribute to other initiatives to support the management and performance of the Bank's merchant offerings.
About you
Experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on card and payment systems would be ideal.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective project and change management skills to drive and develop new capabilities
Time management skills, including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Strong engagement and a preparedness to make educated decisions and back own ability
Analytical and commercial acumen
