Plant Mechanic – Gillman, SA
Are you a skilled Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic looking for a rewarding opportunity? Downer is seeking dedicated professionals to join our expert Mechanical Fitter team in Gillman, SA. If you have a strong work ethic, a passion for excellence, and flexibility to travel, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Bring
* Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic
* Current Forklift Licence (required) & Truck Licence (MR/HR preferred)
* Experience in servicing & maintaining heavy equipment, trucks & diesel engines
* Hydraulic & auto-electrical knowledge (highly advantageous)
* Strong fault-finding & breakdown support skills
* Ability to complete field service work & travel when required
* Experience with asphalt & earthmoving equipment, including stabilisers, skid steers, wheel loaders, asphalt pavers & spray trucks
* Team player with a positive attitude & commitment to Zero Harm
