Global Hospitality Solutions is a provider of outsourced services to hotels, serviced apartments and commercial buildings in Australia. The company employs over 2,000 staff and services more than 2 million rooms per year, providing outsourced housekeeping services to hotel brands.
Role
Accounts Assistant (Maternity cover), part time. In 2026 the role is a fixed-term position with a mid‐June start.
Responsibilities
* Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure financial records are accurate
* Help prepare and process invoices and payments
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
* Support the finance team with month-end closing tasks
* Assist with invoicing, debtor chasing, and other projects as needed
* Back up other accounting tasks in absence
* Timesheet and room count reconciliation
* Lend a hand with various admin tasks as directed by the finance team
Requirements
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Ability to learn financial systems quickly
* Experience with XERO preferred but not essential
* Efficiency, attention to detail, and ability to work within tight timeframes
* Ability to prioritise and manage workload while contributing to a team
* Adaptability, professionalism and high level of confidentiality
* Strong interpersonal skills and good English language proficiency
* Excellent time management with customer service focus

About you
* Finance or accounting experience in hospitality is a plus but not essential
* Accounting background preferred
* Work 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, in person
