Job Summary

About the Role:
* Maintaining Cleanliness:
o Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and recreational spaces.
o Ensure that all cleaning activities meet the specific needs and sensitivities of individuals with disabilities.
* Sanitation and Infection Control:
o Follow established protocols for sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a hygienic environment.
o Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
* Collaboration:
o Coordinate with other support staff to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
o Communicate effectively with supervisors and support staff regarding any issues related to cleanliness or facility maintenance.
* Respect for Individual Needs:
o Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for the privacy and personal space of individuals with disabilities.
o Adapt cleaning practices to accommodate specific requirements and preferences of clients.
* Safety Compliance:
o Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks for clients, staff, and yourself.
