Digital Product Owner Role Summary
This is a critical position within our team, responsible for ensuring the ongoing maintenance, optimization and governance of the BreastScreen NSW website.
The successful candidate will play a key role in collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences that meet user needs, organizational goals and digital best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and optimize the BreastScreen NSW website, ensuring it remains accurate, user-friendly and aligned with branding, paid and organic search activity, accessibility and performance standards.
* Manage and coordinate enhancements and maintain governance frameworks for digital content and functionality.
* Support content editors and page owners in delivering digital projects, including implementation, management and optimisation of websites, SEO and SEM.
* Deliver public health related communications through social media channels, requiring experience in content planning, community management and media optimization.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in marketing, digital marketing/media design.
* Demonstrated experience using a Content Management System (CMS) to update and manage website content, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and application of high digital standards such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
* Demonstrated experience in project management, managing internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
* Demonstrated experience delivering digital projects, including implementation, management and optimisation of websites, SEO and SEM.
* Demonstrated social media experience, including content planning, community management and media optimization.
