About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Trade Counter Sales Representative to join our team in Homebush West, full-time. This role will be a key support in providing assistance in 4Cabling's frontline sales and customer service operations.
Responsibilities
* Proactively engage with customers at the trade counter, delivering a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service.
* Develop and maintain strong product knowledge across our range, including copper cables, network cables, fibre leads, and server rack equipment.
* Greet and assist customers at the trade counter, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
* Understand customer needs and preferences, offering guidance and information on products.
* Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
* Accurately process customer orders and handle transactions.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels at the trade counter.
* Restock shelves and displays as required to ensure products are available and presented in an organised manner.
* Assist in unloading, lifting, and organizing products in the warehouse.
Qualifications
* High school qualifications or equivalent; further education in sales, marketing, or related field is advantageous.
* Prior experience in a customer-facing sales role, preferably within a similar industry.
* Strong understanding of technical products related to cabling, IT management, and server rack equipment.
* Working Proficiency in Google Suite is essential. Proficiency in the organisation's core technologies, including JIM 2 and Salesforce would be highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Ethical and integrity-driven in handling customer data.
* Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling occasional lifting and carrying of products.
