Lumia Care is expanding our Allied Health offering and we are seeking an
Occupational Therapist Team Leader
to join our Sydney community team. This is a newly created role and a genuine opportunity to
lead from the front
while continuing hands on clinical work.
You will play a key role in delivering high quality, outcomes focused therapy to Aged Care clients across Sydney, while also helping shape and grow Lumia Care's Allied Health services.
About The Role
This is a full time, Monday to Friday position offering clinical variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to step into a leadership role within a growing service.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Delivering community based OT assessments and interventions
* Conducting home safety assessments and functional capacity reviews
* Providing equipment recommendations and high quality clinical reporting
* Acting as a clinical mentor and point of support for Occupational Therapists as the team grows
* Collaborating closely with Care Partners and internal stakeholders
* Contributing to service development, clinical standards, and best practice across Allied Health
About You
You are a confident and capable Occupational Therapist who enjoys working autonomously and is ready to take the next step in your career. You may already be in a senior or informal leadership role, or looking for an opportunity to grow into one.
We Are Looking For
* AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
* Experience working in community and or Aged Care settings
* Leadership capability or a strong interest in mentoring and service development
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A current driver's licence and confidence travelling across Sydney
